Hey y’all! It has been a long while since I have been able to sit down and write about upcoming races; man does this make me excited!! I don’t know about y’all, but personally I have had enough of 2020, and I am ready to get back into the swing of mowing!
We here at the USLMRA are all gearing up for what we hope to be a phenomenal mower racing season in 2021! We have just published our new, revamped rule book, which you can find here if you haven’t seen it already:

We are working hard on ironing out the full USLMRA schedule for 2021. We should all start seeing locations and dates very soon!
First and foremost, though… we are gearing up to ring in the New Year rockin and mowin right into 2021 down in sunny Florida! Our long time friend and racer, Sean Kennedy along with Brad Rhodes and their crew at The Dirt Track in Punta Gorda, Florida have teamed up with us to host the United States Lawn Mower Racing Association’s very first race of 2021!

“Let’s bring in the New Year and new racing season with the first USLMRA point’s race in beautiful Florida,” says Promoter Sean Kennedy.
On and around the track:
The track is 30’ wide and 700’ around the outside. It is situated inside the infield of the 417 Speedway.
Racers may drop off trailers Thursday evening and stay at the track. There are no hook up’s.
Concessions will be on site and ready roll.
Host Hotel: Hampton Inn in Port Charlotte (has racer discounts).
Location: 24480 Sandhill Road Port Charlotte.
There are closer motels to the track, but prices may be higher.
We are located close to beaches.
There are also many local restaurants to choose from.
There are two RV parks within a mile of the track.
Allegiant flies into the Punta Gorda Airport across the street from the track.

This just in: Doc Kuhfeldt will be announcing for this weekend! Doc will keep you well entertained as well as well informed on what mower racing is all about. Doc will also have the fastest mower in the USA on site showing off for everyone to see. This is an awesome machine built by Doc Kuhfeldt, the master fabricator, himself.
We will have lots of freebies, giveaways, and drawings at this event:
- Burris Racing has given us a set of tires to give away along with a couple of T-shirts.
- We are going to have a drawing for $75.00 tow money for 6 lucky racers(each). This will be done at the awards on Saturday after the races. This money was put up by Ben Blaylock and Sean Kennedy.
- Fast Graphics will be giving 2 graphics packages for 1 mower each, which includes #’s ,name and sponsor Logo. This will also be done by drawing at the awards on Saturday.
- SLIME will be providing USLMRA with products to give away.
- Sta-Bil has sent us a bunch of goodies to give out to all racers, as well!
