Hello Racers And Fans!

After a very exciting first race of the year in Tampa a few weeks ago, the USLMRA is gearing up for the annual Snow Bird Nationals in Avon Park, Florida. Racing festivities will commence Friday, March 9 and Saturday March 10.
I know that all of you are looking forward to heading out to the races this week. I know that we all sure are! We here at USLMRA are looking forward to fast racing, good friends, and lots of pit food!
I have listed the weekend event schedule below for all to familiarize themselves with.
We would also like to remind everyone that our new rule book was published just before our first race in Tampa, Florida. Our staff decided that an exception to a couple of these rules would be made in Tampa ONLY! It was the first race of the season, and the rule book was published just before this race. Please make sure your mowers are USLMRA legal when you show up to race in Avon Park!
I now have something quite special to share with you all! Most of you all have heard or read about the British racer, Simon that our team hosted last season up in Maryland. I have expressed numerous times that this particular pairing was pure fate. Simon, myself, and my family have kept in very close contact since he was here last August. We have became the very best of friends, in fact.
We all concocted a plan together… that plan was to fly Simon back over to participate in another USLMRA event! That event will be Avon Park! That’s right ladies and gents; Simon Campbell of the British Lawn Mower Racing Association will be landing early this week to travel, race, and vacation with the Robinson family! You do not want to miss this! It’s going to be absolutely amazing! So, I want for everyone to load those MOWchines up and get yourselves to Avon Park, Florida this Friday and Saturday to meet and race with Simon!
We are planning to see racers coming in from Massachusetts, New Jersey, South Carolina, Iowa, Tennessee, Maryland, Illinois, Oklahoma, and many more states; not to mention London, England! This is going to be a race for the history books! One that none of you want to miss! We look forward to seeing all of y’all Friday in Avon Park, Florida!

Open Practice 5-9pm
Pits open all day for trailer drop!
Races Friday and Saturday – March 9th and 10th
Registration 10-11am
Tech/Safety Inspection 11am – 1pm
Practice Session 12pm – 2pm
Mandatory Drivers Meeting 2:30pm
Heat Races start at 3pm
Feature Races start at 6pm
