We are a group of mower racers from all over the Northeast, and we have decided to put together a series of approximately 10 races for 2011. All of these races will be held on nice fast and smooth racing surfaces most of which will be go-kart tracks.
These races are open to any mower racer, from any organization, as long as they meet our rules and safety guidelines.
July 15 and 16 will be the 1st Doubleheader, Double points weekend for the FTFMRS – That’s right, a double header weekend with double points for each track! We will be running at Selinsgrove on Friday night July 15th. Selinsgrove is a FAST 1/5 mile with very wide open turns and a smooth clay surface. The last time there the FTFMRS had mowers running in the High 12 sec range. Borgers will be on July 16th and this track treated us very well the last time out. Some of our FTFMRS drivers made Local TV and newspapers. The crowd and Kart drivers loved every lap of the show and asked us to do it again. Lots of interest in mower racing happened in the pits with tons of questions!
