The annual Circle K Back To School Monster Truck Bash at the Dirt Track at Charlotte welcomed the STA-BIL National Lawn Mower Racing Series on August 13, as a sold-out crowd of 15,000 fans experienced USLMRA racing under the lights and on the big dirt track.

More than 70 racers from 10 states set up in back of Turn 4 at the Dirt Track as fans filed in to take their seats throughout the afternoon. While the Monster Truck Pit Party took pace at the front of the track, we ran our heat races. By the time our FXT racers hit the track around 7:30pm, the stands were jammed pack, marking the largest crowd in the USLMRA’s 24-year history.

The track crew at Charlotte has come to love working with us, and enjoys playing host to America’s Fastest Mowing Sport.

Racing was safe and competitive, with minimal yellow flags and schedule breaks. National Chief Steward Manny Torres extended his compliments to the racers for their safe driving and staying on schedule, which all lead to every indication that the Dirt Track at Charlotte will again play host to our STA-BIL Series in 2017, our 25th Anniversary season.

Thank you, Charlotte!
