Each race in this year’s STA-BIL National Lawn Mower Racing Series will be covered by one of our own members, a designated “Pit Reporter” who’ll report back on the weekend’s happenings, the racing action, and mow!
The 2016 Western Mower World Series was held April 23 & 24 at the Prairie City Dirt Track in Sacramento, CA, and the weekend was covered by our Pit Reporter Bob Newman.
The first Western Mower World Series race of 2016 is now history! The race, sponsored by the USLMRA, took place at the beautiful Prairie City Dirt Track in Rancho Cordova and was promoted by Big Time Speedway.
Over 30 mowers from all over the west coast took part in the 2 day race which featured 5 classes of racing mowers. After the races were finished on Sunday the racers were treated to a free BBQ where the weekend’s races were discussed. The weekend proved to be very successful with everyone having a great time. This was the first of an annual event that will continue to grow every year!
