Based on the success of the inaugural U.S. Open in 2010, the United States Lawn Mower Racing Association is proud to our announce The U.S. Open Racing Series! The U.S. Open Racing Series will be an excellent addition to the USLMRA’ s stable of racing mower events, and will allow race mowers from various organizations and independent groups to participate in safe, sanctioned and fun lawn mower racing. The races are open to any mower deemed safe by USLMRA Tech Staff and that meet all USLMRA Safety Standards (see the USLMRA Rule Book), and we strongly encourage racers of all ages, shapes, sizes, speeds and experience levels to bring it!

This year, The U.S. Open Racing Series kicks off on the West Coast with the U.S. Pacific Coast Open at the STA-BIL Pacific Coast Summer Nationals, July 2nd & 3rd at the 4th of July Festival in Estacada, OR. The series returns only weeks later, on August 5th & 6th for the U.S. Eastern Seaboard Open at the STA-BIL Bowles Farms Turf Battle in Clements, MD. And finally, the 2nd Annual U.S. Open at STA-BIL Nationals Weekend – more than a full day of USLMRA Sanctioned and Open Class lawnmower racing on the heels of the USLMRA STA-BIL Keeps Gas Fresh Finals will insure this event is must-attend! Once again in 2011, all roads lead to Mow-hi-o!
“We hope to see a ton of new racing friends at these events,” said U.S. Open Co- Chair Lee Vine. “Remember, the USLMRA will offer FREE MEMBERSHIP and run ROLLING STARTS at the U.S. Open events. There are so many great reasons to come out and have fun!”
